How to bid
How to bid on CPPP ePublishing
CPPP ePublishing runs its own e-procurement system. The steps below are what nearly every Indian e-procurement portal has in common; the portal’s own bidder instructions govern where they differ.
The steps, in order
- 1
Read the portal’s bidder instructions
Most portals publish a bidder manual or help page covering registration, signatures and payment. Read it before the deadline is close.
- 2
Register, and get the signature the portal requires
Electronic bids are almost always submitted from a registered account and signed digitally by an authorised person.
- 3
Read the full tender document and any corrigendum
The notice on the portal, with its corrigenda, governs. It states eligibility, scope, any fee or EMD, and the closing date and time.
- 4
Submit before the closing time, then keep the receipt
Upload, sign and submit on CPPP ePublishing before the closing date and time stated in the notice — portals stop accepting bids at that moment, and a corrigendum can move it. Keep the acknowledgement the portal issues; it is your proof of what you submitted and when.
General guidance, not legal advice. The tender document and CPPP ePublishing’s own bidder instructions govern wherever they differ from this page.
Questions
- Does CPPP ePublishing accept a bid after the closing time?
- Electronic portals close submission at the stated closing date and time. Check the notice and any corrigendum for the current deadline, and allow time for uploads and signing before it.
- Who signs an electronic bid?
- A named, authorised person in your organisation, using their own digital signature as the portal requires. It cannot be delegated to software, and no tool — including this one — should apply it for you.
